It was so quiet and peaceful this morning! We grabbed the fishing poles and headed to the park before the sun came up. The sun soon came up and needless to say...I grabbed the camera and enjoyed the rest of the morning clicking away! After loading up the fishing poles, we decided to drive through the rest of the parks that stretches across Lubbock. We came across a hawk and spent a good hour following it around clicking pictures.
Dillon and Carolina got married September 10 in Seminole. It was a small JP wedding that was perfect. So happy for them. We are so honored that we were able to go and take some photos of their special day.
We went out to Idalou after the Balloon Festival. We walked and walked the orchard, but didn't find many good apples. I guess everyone picked over the good ones on Saturday. It was a beautiful sunny day though and time enjoyed with my love.
This will be our 3rd year to go to the Wolfforth Balloon Festival. It started out just a few balloons and each year there are a few more. This year we were surprised at all the balloons and they all flew off except for one. I really enjoy this event. This year was suppose to be a 2 day event, but the weather Saturday prevented anything from happening. I was disappointed, but look at the beautiful day we were greeted with on Sunday! It was a beautiful morning for hot air balloons.
This is a really neat event. If you haven't been, you should. It has been way too long since we have seen Chad and Laura and their cuties. We took some family photos for them and went back to the house to enjoy the deck and bbq some steaks and corn.
We headed to Plains with Michael's parents Saturday morning after work. There were lots of people and booths and food and even a car show. It took us awhile to find the car show, but we finally made it. It was a good time in the sun and we were more than ready for a nap when we got home. We slept like babies!!
